And the heretick is ......

Titus3:1-11

Remind them to submit to rulers and authorities. They should be obedient and ready to do every good thing. They shouldn’t speak disrespectfully about anyone, but they should be peaceful, kind, and show complete courtesy toward everyone.

We were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, and slaves to our desires and various pleasures too. We were spending our lives in evil behavior and jealousy. We were disgusting, and we hated other people. But

“when God our savior’s kindness and love appeared,
he saved us because of his mercy,
not because of righteous things we had done.
He did it through the washing of new birth and the renewing by the Holy Spirit,
which God poured out upon us generously through Jesus Christ our savior.
So, since we have been made righteous by his grace,
we can inherit the hope for eternal life.”

This saying [above] is reliable.
And I want you to insist on these things,
so that those who have come to believe in God might give careful attention to doing good.
These things are good and useful for everyone.

Avoid stupid controversies, genealogies, and fights about the Law,
because they are useless and worthless.
After a first and second warning,
have nothing more to do with a person who causes conflict,
because you know that someone like this is twisted and sinful—
so they condemn themselves. (CEB)

But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law;
for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself. (KJV)
+

Warn a quarrelsome person once or twice, but then be done with him.
It's obvious that such a person is out of line, rebellious against God.
By persisting in divisiveness he cuts himself off.  (MSG)
+
But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law,
for they are unprofitable and worthless. (NASB)
+
Do not get involved in foolish discussions about spiritual pedigrees or in quarrels and fights about obedience to Jewish laws. These things are useless and a waste of time. If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them. For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them. (NLT)

AND THE HERETICK IS ......

...... the one NOT aligning to the RELIABLE SAYING ....

...... the one fighting about [the need for] obedience to Old Testament Laws, etc.
+
+
[part of the reliable saying is :

"..... we are Righteous by His Grace, we Inherit the Hope for Eternal Life.”]
 +
[ in a perversion, some legalistic groups reject people who insist on the reliable saying ... lol .... ]
