Limitless you in Christ

Brian Houston spoke at Hillsong Brisbane on the limitless you in Christ.
Below is my paraphrase.
It appears innate in mankind to test the limits. Boys cross bottomless lakes; men cross oceans then women do then children do. Men climb impossible mountains then soon someone is doing the same thing walking backwards to see if that can be done!
We are to be the same explorers in The Spirit.
We explore the mystery of His Will, to find His Good Pleasure that is our purpose in Him; to understand depth & height & width of His mystery, to find our identity that can only be fulfilled in Him (Eph.1-19). Saul could boast that he was the best of the best in the elements of this Earth but Paul (Spiritually blessed Saul) was fulfilled by being the least of the least in Heaven on Earth. As Saul, he was exclusive, but as Paul he became totally inclusive. (Eph.3:5&6) Because Christ was ALIVE in him. (Eph.2:1,Gal.2:20) Forget about anything with “self” in the proposition. Self confidence, self awareness, self conscious etc. It turns you in on your limited self; it was the failing of Lucifer. In Is.14:13 lucifer talks about himself in his own awareness then brings his “I statements” to Adam which brought about self awareness that they were only naked and vulnerable with out the Glory covering of God. The self confidant might blindly rage for a while, the self aware might present the limits of existence well for a season and the self conscious might live anxiously and depressively but we want to be aware of Christ limitless in and through us, full of His Peace, full of His Confidence (Jer.29:11; Heb.10:35).
Get away from attaching your old self to the Recreated you.
Gideon gave all the excuses and “buts” to being victorious over the cruel midianites.
He was hiding with his food, he said he was part of the least tribe, that his father’s house was poor in that tribe, that he was the least in his father’s house etc etc … led by the butt!
God drew out his faith in Him then, called him a mighty man of valour.(Judges.6)
You have a way better relationship with Jesus because of His Sacrifice and the Gift of His Spirit dwelling in you. You are defined by what He says about you not what this world says about you. Yes.
