"And at the end of his movie of creation,
the Word of God Incarnate
(who makes the opposites of life and death for his Father's delight)
will sit at the right hand of the Father
with his own death perpetually present
in the risen and glorified scars of his passion.
In the silent witness of those sacred Wounds,
even our sins will be at the Father's side.
Eternally present in his beloved Son,
and eternally unmentioned by his beloved Son,
they will not stand against us
because in him they never did stand against us.
With his hands up on the cross, he took his chances
with an unfettered and often hostile creation.
And having played the game to the end,
he still wins, hands down."
