an human in blessing .....

I love going for walks to experience Holy Spirit.
A time to pray, in silence, in wonder, in the Spirit.
A time to bless a stranger with a smile, with a G'day.
Sometimes to listen, sometimes to speak.
A time to give out, a time to take in.
To give material blessing, to receive material blessing.
To encourage, to receive encouragement.
To speak of Jesus' Love;
To demonstrate Jesus' Love through a healing prayer.
And I'm thinking:
It IS like this, all the time.

This week a man turned around at an adjoining table;
"Do I know you?"
By the time our conversation had finished,
he and his mature son knew more of a freeing Jesus;
he was asking me to write down the name of a book,
I had mentioned.

Yesterday, I said to a woman waiting to pay for coffee;
"Do you know a friend of mine?"
She burst forth with how she sees my wife and I
out together and it fills her with so much hope
that marriages can be happy! and acknowledged that
a man of God was making a difference in the life
of her palsied son.

Last week, I spoke to a man suffering
depression,  I said :
"It would be good to get that dirty demon depression off you."
He tried to spook me with :
"yeh, but i got schizophrenia too ! "
He seemed stirred when I said "That one too"
He broke interaction, so I shook his hand and wished him well.

Instead they said to Moses,
Yes, we can keep those terms !

The religious think that
"even if you look with lust .. "
is the new standard for the "church".
No, it was always the standard under OT law,
no one can live it, we need grace !

The pharisees made it look like they could live the law.
But the law was fault finding, even in the miniscule.
It was brutal, violent, crushing and totally against us.
Under law, there was no possibility of intimacy with God.

Self-righteousness is always exposed when one has a covenant
that is reliant on mankind, to succeed.
The law was supposed to show us that.
Instead the religious, incorporate it today.

But your fluctuating performance and righteousness
is nullified by Christ.

The law says "Perform"; Grace says "Trust".
Performance is self-focused; Trust is Jesus focused.
Self is never enough; Jesus is more than enough.

In Gal.5

[ Flesh represents
works, self-righteousness, legalism,
performance, the "safety" of law
and the unworkability of Grace.

Spirit represents
trust, gifted righteousness, Jesus qualifying us,
and the necessity of Grace to endure,
in all things, forever. ]

Power to live free comes from Grace .....

Now lukewarmness is attained by mixing, too.
Cold mixed with hot.
Cold tablets of law mixed with crazy hot grace.

"your works" are human works to establish self-righteousness.
a people doing their form of righteousness,
thinking they are world beaters for Jesus.
spat out !

go back under cold law and be brought again to Christ, (cold)
or
ask for a dream and vision of crazy Hot Grace !

Trusting "the done work of Jesus"
is the only work in town .....

A friendship that is based solely on doctrinal agreements 
is no friendship at all. 
In this case, the allegiance is only towards the doctrine 
and not the person, 
because the moment one of the parties in this relationship 
starts to think differently, 
the true color of the said "friendship" emerges.

When that happens, 
don't be surprised when 'friends' get offended or leave you. 
It's actually a blessing in disguise. 
Life is too beautiful to be wasted by playing religious games.

the Church was, is and always will be, One. 
Not to confuse with man made denominations 
based on doctrine and beliefs. 
The Church has been the same always and has always thrived... 
mostly unseen... 
and across many denominations with no boundaries.

[ I have found not being aligned with a "church",
since leaving a cultish organisation,
has encouraged me to explore all flavours 
from the gospel of Grace.
I have been a "loyal" member of a "church",
I  have been cautioned by "well meaning" members,
to not move 
too fast,
too far,
too radical,
(code, used to stop development, and remain a normal churcher).


This was an emotional decision for me to cut reliance on "normalcy"!
One has few "normal church" friends after a decision like this.


Amazingly, it has led me into the only thing that lasts.
An interaction of love and healing from the Spirit of Jesus.


".. after the religious cast him out,
Jesus found him ....."


yay!!! Jesus .....  


His Mystery is kneaded into the whole lump.

pie girl healed .....

In a pie shop at the end of a health walk.
Got my pie then noticed the shop attendant
limped back to scrape carbon off a baking tray.
There was an urge to pray for her.

She said she had wrecked her ankle out on the town.
She had been in medical care for the last few months.
There had been no improvement.

I said Jesus wanted to heal her,
would she like to have prayer.
She came closer, and gave an uncertain "huh ah".

Prayed and I could see she was surprised with the result.
"Do you want to test it."
"I just did, it should hurt when I stand like this."
She was happy.
I said that Jesus thought she was a princess.
I left her with no directions.

I went back just recently.
She said it was definitely better.
I left her with a card that said
"Trust in Jesus ...."
and read the Message Bible.
