"The Word became flesh and tabernacled among us.
We observed His glory,
the glory as the One and Only Son, from the Father,
full of grace and truth." (HCSB)
"Indeed, every one of us has shared in His riches—
there is a Grace in our lives because of His Grace". (vs16 - Philips) "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."(KJV)
[i.e. a man
wanted rules to be justified by, but God (as a man) delivered Grace-Truth]
Therefore the law was not God’s Grace-Truth!
A NEW STATE came into being when Jesus generated Grace.
The greek verb translated “came” is ginomai
pronounced ghin - om - ah- ee; ....[ ha hee !]
pronounced ghin - om - ah- ee; ....[ ha hee !]
it means: to generate into being.
John(= Graciousness of God) only uses this word twice in his
book;
the other occasion, when Daddy God speaks audibly to the crowd (included Greeks)
"I have both glorified it (His Name), and will glorify it again."
Jesus answers the crowds' dismay with:
“This voice "came" not
because of me, but for your sakes.”J12:30
The greek verb translated “given” is didomee; [did o' me !]
it has a meaning connected by: hand, strike, suffer.
The Law was handed under sufferance by Moses
but GRACE-TRUTH WAS GENERATED INTO
BEING by Jesus Christ.
GRACE is our COMPLETELY NEW STATE OF BEING in HIM.
