Do note that the Old Testament is not the place you go to look for the full revelation of God.
In fact it is an imperfect picture of God.
This is because the people were only spoken to by prophets and angels.
"but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."
Jesus however is.
So the gospels, the writings of the apostles and Revelation
records for us perfect records of the revelation of God.
He is Jesus.
Hence please don't use the wrathful shadowy figure of the old covenant and call him God.
That's only the version the prophets and angels presented.
Rather come and embrace the Son.
The God who so loved humanity that he became a human forever.
This is how God is like.

The term being
"crucified with Christ"
doesn't mean all of Jesus and none of me.
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
It just means I am done with the law of Moses.
Look at the verses before and after Galatians 2:20.
Galatians 2:19
“For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God.
Galatians 2:21
I do not set aside the grace of God,
for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”
So many have just plucked the verse out of its context and tell people to empty themselves.
That's nonsense.
You already died with Jesus and had been raised,
what else is there to be emptied.

But it's not that people are wiped out forever ...
It's brokenness in people that's wiped out forever.
The end result of fire
after the judgment is annihilation of sin and its results
Not people!
People get restored once brokenness is annihilated
by being healed.
When speaking of the fire (hell) following judgment
God says ...
1 Corinthians 3:15
If anyone's work is burned up,
he will suffer loss,
though he himself will be saved,
but only as through fire.
See?
Junk is burned away by the fire and people remain saved = restored.
Annihilationism is right about the eternal fire coming to an end

Myth:
"Jesus spoke about unquenchable fire! Unquenchable means unending fire!!"
Q. What does the word unquenchable mean in the Bible?
1. As we compare various English translations, we learn that Unquenchable does not mean endless but "not be put out".
Jesus said… That the fires of hell would "not be quenched"
Mark 9:48
'and the fire is not quenched.'
Look at the way other English bibles translate this phrase…
Mark 9:48New Life Version (NLV)
48 There is where their worm never dies and the fire is never put out.
See?
To not be quenched simply means to never be put out…
It doesn't mean that the fire doesn't burn out!
Look at the same phrase in relation to the burning of the Jerusalem temple in the old Testament by the Babylonians.
Jeremiah 17:27.
I will kindle an unquenchable fire in the gates of Jerusalem that will consume her fortresses.’”
Okay… So there we are told that the fires that would burn the gates of Jerusalem would not be quenched!
If to not be Quenched means that the fire burns endlessly…
Then why isn't the fire still burning now in Jerusalem?
This is proof positive that to not be quenched simply means the fire will do its work… No human will put this fire out but…
The fires that burned down the gates of Jerusalem although they were not quenched… They did their job and burned out and then stopped!
The very verse said that the fire would not be quenched until the fortresses were consumed!
Consumed!
The fires were never put out… They did their job and consumed the fortresses of Jerusalem … And when the fire did its work…
It Burned-out and stopped!
The fires are still not burning today!
This means that to not be quenched does not refer to endless time
Unquenchable is a figure of speech that simply means no human will put this fire out ... it will burn until the job is done!
So to not be quenched does not mean never ending!
The fire of hell will not be put out… Until the job is done…
And what job is that?
The next verse has the answer!
Mark 9:48-49New Life Version (NLV)
48 There is where their worm never dies and the fire is never put out.
49 “Everyone will be made cleaner and stronger with fire.
Jesus said that the fires of hell will not be put out… Never be quenched until everyone is made cleaner and stronger with that fire!
Here is the great news of hell!
No one will put out Gods hell fire till everyone everyone everyone is made…
Cleaner and stronger!
No one will put this fire out until the job is done…
And all are saved – restored!

Acts 16:29-31
The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
Someone posted these verses and suggested that the jailer's request for being saved clearly points to judgment beyond AD70 since the jailer did not stay in Jerusalem.
My question would be this.
Why should the jailer want to be saved from an incident that would never happen during his lifetime?
Acts 16:26
Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.
So you see the jailer was looking toward to something that had happened immediately.
Acts 16:27-28
The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”
See here again. The danger was imminent.

What is "corruption of the world"?
2 Peter 2:20
If they have escaped the corruption of the world by
knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
and are again entangled in it and are overcome,
they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.
When you read the term "corruption of this world" in 2 Peter 2:20,
it doesn't mean the world we live in.
It means the fading away of the Law.
Hebrews 8:13
By calling this covenant “new,”
he has made the first one obsolete;
and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.
This "corruption" reached its consummation in AD70
when the Jews' heaven and earth (the Temple) was destroyed.
You are not partakers of that "corrupted" world.
You are partakers of the divine nature.
2 Peter 1:4
Through these he has given us

you participate in the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption in the world
caused by evil desires.
You have already escaped that "corruption".
